With the house in need of many repairs and a lifetime of memories to sort through, the family felt overwhelmed—especially with loved ones living out of state. John’s guidance, expertise and heartfelt support made all the difference in the family’s needs, inspiring him to dedicate his career to serving seniors and their families during these pivotal moments.

About John Irwin

John Irwin

As a fourth-generation Idahoan, John Irwin brings a legacy of dedication, integrity, and community to every real estate transaction. In addition to being a Senior Real Estate Specialist, John serves first-time home buyers, families at all stages, recent Idaho transplants, and investors.

His great-grandfather homesteaded in Southern Idaho, founding Irwin Farms Inc. in 1913, and the Irwin family has played a vital role in shaping Idaho’s landscape for over 110 years—through farming, public service, and real estate. John’s real estate journey began in 1988, when he joined his father at Irwin Realty, a company founded in 1982. John is known for his deep market knowledge, unwavering work ethic, and genuine care for his clients. His approach is simple: treat every client like family, listen deeply to their needs, and guide them with honesty and expertise.

Before launching his real estate career, John was a professional bowler and a proud member of the Professional Bowlers Association, bowling several years on tour—a chapter of his life that taught him the value of focus, discipline, and perseverance. When his father suggested he try real estate, John discovered a true calling: helping people achieve their dreams of homeownership.

John is honored to be a trusted advisor to families throughout Idaho, assisting with everything from first homes to investment properties and beyond. He believes, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. I love what I do.” When he’s not working with clients, John enjoys life with his beautiful wife Nicole and their loyal dog Stormy. You’ll often find him bowling, golfing, traveling, or exploring the Boise Foothills and the beautiful Boise River Greenbelt.
